This is a comprehensive list of every clause used in UCC's tiers. UCC-Wide Clauses apply to every single tier, and every clause in a specific tier also applies to every single tier below them. Unique clauses for tiers outside of the main hierarchy (such as Little Cup) can be found on their respective pages under the Tiers and Metagames tab.
UCC-Wide Clauses
These clauses are generally the same ones that Smogon uses for its standarized tiers, which is why this is just a direct copy-paste of the text from the 'Smogon-Wide Clauses page'. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Species Clause
A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
Sleep Clause
If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.
Evasion Clause
A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
OHKO Clause
A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Moody Clause
A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.
Endless Battle Clause
Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
Species Clause
A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
- For example, using a team with two Koffing would break this clause.
- Using different formes on the same team, such as Rotom-W and Rotom-C, also breaks the clause since they share the same Pokédex number (#479).
Sleep Clause
If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.

A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.

- For example, a Slowbro holding a Leppa Berry can create an endless battle using the moves Recycle, Heal Pulse, Slack Off, and Block. To do so, Slowbro traps one of the opponent's Pokemon, PP stalls it, and heals Struggle damage indefinitely using Heal Pulse and Slack Off.
Gamma
These clauses apply to Gamma, Beta, and Alpha.
Soft Baton Pass Clause
Players may not use the move Baton Pass if their pokemon has a positive stat buff or a Substitute that can be passed by the move.
Nuclear Clause
A pokemon without the Nuclear type may not use Nuclear type moves, even if it's via the usage of a non-Nuclear type attack that either calls another move or change its type (such as Assist or Natural Gift).
